OBJECTIVES
In Action
- Procuring Minor Forest Produce (MFP) from Tribal Families: We aim to support tribal families who rely on forests for their livelihood by procuring their MFP. Through our network of affiliated Primary Societies, we ensure that these families receive remunerative prices for their produce, thereby improving their economic well-being.
- Procuring Surplus Agricultural Produce: We strive to create a competitive market for tribal farmers by procuring their surplus agricultural produce. By providing them with an assured market, we enable them to sell their products in competition with private traders, ensuring fair prices and enhancing their income.
- Value Addition to Tribal Produce: We believe in adding value to the produce collected from tribal families. Through various value addition processes, we aim to enhance the quality and marketability of their products. By doing so, we ensure that tribal communities receive better returns on their produce, encouraging sustainable growth and prosperity.
- Establishing Small-scale Industrial Units: Our commitment to the development of tribal areas extends to the establishment of small-scale industrial units. These units focus on manufacturing consumer products, creating employment opportunities within the tribal communities, and exploring the potential of the consumer market. By promoting local industries, we contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the tribal regions.
- Supplying Essential Commodities at Competitive Prices: We understand the importance of providing essential commodities to tribal consumers at affordable prices. Through our wide network of Daily Requirements (DR) sales Depots, we ensure the availability of Essential Commodities (ECs) under the Public Distribution System (PDS) as well as other daily requirements. By offering competitive prices, we strive to meet the basic needs of tribal consumers and improve their overall quality of life.
- Providing Credit Support to Tribal Farmers: We recognize the need for financial support in agricultural activities. To assist tribal farmers, we provide credit support with flexible repayment options, either in cash or produce. By ensuring access to credit, we enable farmers to invest in their agricultural endeavors, enhance productivity, and achieve sustainable agricultural practices.
- At GCC, we take pride in our mission to uplift tribal communities and create sustainable opportunities for growth and development. Join us in our journey as we work towards a society where every tribal individual has the chance to thrive and succeed.
